Equivalency Exams
for PS courses: 103, 104, 105, 107, 150, 160, 250

From the catalog:
"Students who believe they possess sufficient knowledge and who have not previously failed that particular course may apply to take the course equivalency examination for a maximum of 15 credit hours. Course equivalency examinations must be completed prior to the time the student reaches the last 30 credits for a bachelor’s degree. A nonrefundable fee ($500) is charged for administering each equivalency exam. Because students may take a course equivalency exam only once for each course, those failing a course equivalency examination must enroll in and complete the course to receive credit."
If you are interested in taking an equivalency exam to “test out” of one of the above courses, the procedure is as follows:

1.    Meet with the PS Curriculum Coordinator, Dr Bereket Berhane in COAS 319.14, to determine your eligibility, and fill out an application (or fill out an application at Records and Registration).

2.      If you are eligible, sign up for one of the testing dates.

NOTE: The fee for each exam is $500.  This fee is waived during your first two weeks at ERAU.

You are allowed to bring 3 items to the exam: pencil, scientific calculator (non graphing, non programmable), 3x5 formula card (both sides). Also bring your Eagle card for identification.

Below are sample final exams for some of the courses, and the material covered.  See the reference desk in the Hunt library for the textbooks.
