General Information
The 2002 Elston Relativity & Gravitation Symposium will be held in Daytona Beach, Florida, Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6, 2002. All sessions will be in the Instructional Center (IC 104) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Located just 50 miles east of Orlando, and 40 miles north of Cape Kennedy, the city of Daytona Beach has many miles of almost empty beaches, just a short drive from the University.

The registration fee will be $50 for each participant, but there will be no charge for students. Proceeds will go to the Elston Memorial Fund, a portion of which will be used for student scholarships. Click here for a registration form and information. All registration fees must be paid in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Unfortunately, purchase orders cannot be accepted. You need not be pre-registered. On-site registration will be availabe Friday 8-5 and Saturday 8-12.
Abstracts (due March 1)

so send in your contributed abstracts as soon as possible. Thank
you.
Conference Program (final March 15)
After the abstract submission deadline, presentations will be organized into the two-day program. Sessions will run from 9am until 5:30pm. This program should be finalized by March 15. Please check back then for details.
The proceedings will be published on the web subsequent to the meeting.
There are three airports servicing Daytona Beach:
(1) Daytona Beach Airport (DAB)
The Daytona Beach Airport is adjacent to Embry-Riddle University, only a short taxi ride away.
(2) Jacksonville Airport
The Jacksonville International Airport is a 1 hour 15 minute drive from Daytona Beach.
(3) Orlando International Airport (MCO)
The Orlando International Airport is a 90-minute drive from Daytona Beach. There are several shuttle and taxi services available from the airport. It is suggested that you arrange ground transportation in advance.

All sessions will be provided with one overhead projector and one screen. 35mm projectors and LCD computer projectors will be provided, but you must submit a request to Chris Vuille (vuille@db.erau.edu, or fax 386-226-6621) by April 1.
Note: LCD projection has often proved to be subject to software and
hardware problems. We request that speakers using LCD projectors bring
back-up view-graphs in case of technical problems.
