Develop syllabus and overall course structure for Composition and Literature (Com 122), Studies in Literature (HU 142), and Traversing the Borders: Science and Science Fiction and administer all grades. Composition and Literature is a one-semester course that covers academic writing through the research essay and includes instruction on MLA Style and Formatting. Studies in Literature requires students to develop analytical reading and writing skills in at least three literary genres over the course of the semester. Traversing the Borders: Science and Science Fiction is an interdisciplinary research course that requires students to compose websites detailing the intersections between science and science fiction.
